Pestana Porto - A Brasileira, City Center & Heritage Building

It is the location and the staff . For me as a solo traveller, the location really played an important role in choosing the hotel. I really liked the location as it is in the middle of everything, from the train station to the shopping district and to the sightseeing places. The staff was fantastic- everyone was very helpful ! Thank you so much for making my stay in Porto the best experience ever! This was my first time traveling to Porto and my first solo birthday trip to celebrate my special day. I had never done this before, and I’m very happy to have made the right decision in choosing you, Pestana Porto - A Brasileira! Your staff was fantastic—from the reception to housekeeping, bell boy and the breakfast team. I may not remember all the names, but from the moment I checked in on January 29th at 11:00 AM, despite initially only intending to leave my luggage at reception, Catarina (hopefully I got her name right) informed me that my room was already ready! That was such a pleasant surprise, and I was truly thankful for it. Later that night, another surprise awaited me when Rita from the reception came to my room with a slice of birthday cake and a cute bottle of port wine, wishing me a happy birthday. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! The surprises didn’t stop there. The next morning during breakfast, the staff brought to me another slice of birthday cake with a candle on it! I was truly touched by these thoughtful gestures. Thank you so much again everyone at Pestana Porto - A Brasileira (Catarina, Luis, Rita, Tiago, the housekeeping staff, the breakfast team and few more which I could not remember the name but you know whom I’m referring to, for making my birthday trip to Porto to be the most memorable and wonderful experience ever. The breakfasts were lovely plenty of choice in the main area and excellent alternatives on the menu board with omelettes and selection of different coffees The staff were very very good in the breakfast area and the main person unfortunately we did not catch her name in charge of proceedings was so polite and nothing was too much trouble for her always a cheerful smile and always very attentive

The location of the hotel was super central. It is very easy to walk around and catch the metro as well. We booked an executive room with a view. The room was spacious enough, not too big nor too small. The staff were really nice and accommodating, especially the ladies at the breakfast as well as the front office staff. It was my birthday, so they sent a complimentary cake and processo to the room. Everything was clean and well maintained. I am really happy to have chosen this hotel for our trip.

The Hotel is in a great location, it is a beautiful historic buiding, super friendly staff, specially Luis and Artur, very helpful, always smiling, attentive to details, during breakfast member of the staff already knew what I wanted to drink because they had taken note on the first day, so every day, as I arrived there it was my green tea pot at my table! Felt like a V.I.P :-)
